Ontario School of Commerce and Technology is uncompromising dedicated to helping people improve their lives through high-quality education and training programs for careers in the field of culinary arts.

One significant reason for this success is our admissions process. We seek to enroll only those students we are confident we can successfully train and place. The college also recognizes that starting a new career is a huge decision, one of the largest in a person’s life. Because of this, the enrollment process has three-steps during which both the potential student and the college have adequate time and information to make the right decision.

How to Apply

Step 1: Initial Visit

We want to get to know you better and let you get to know us. To that end, we invite you to visit the campus, meet some students and our chefs, take a tour of the facilities and talk with an admissions officer about your goals and motivation to pursue a culinary arts career. This gives you the opportunity to learn more about the college and to ask all the questions we know are running through your mind. If you need a little more time or are not yet sure, the admissions officer will schedule a second appointment for further discussion and completion of the paperwork.

Step 2: Apply For Admission

Enrollment is limited, so to claim a space in the next start date we urge you to apply for admission as soon as possible. The application requires completion of the appropriate paperwork and payment of an application fee.

Step 3: Complete Financial Arrangements

Once you complete your application and the entrance examination is evaluated, we’ll have you meet with the director of the program to determine financial arrangements for your program. We recognize that many students must make financial sacrifices to accomplish career goals, often taking on debt or other financial burdens to pay for education. We are committed to making this process as stress-free as possible, helping determine the right combination of down payment, payment plans, educational loans, or other sources of funding to make your attendance in our program possible.

Once these three steps are complete, you’ll be accepted into the class start date of your choosing.
